A street race in Chatham has landed one man with charges.
A Chatham-Kent Police officer spotted two vehicles racing on McNaughton Avenue early Saturday morning. One of the vehicles was stopped and the officer suspected the driver had been drinking.
The accused was taken to the Chatham OPP detachment for breath tests.
The 22-year-old Chatham man is now facing charges of having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit and was held in custody for a bail hearing.
