With just days to go until Christmas, the Salvation Army is putting out an 11th hour call for both volunteers and donations.
Captain Karen Holland says time is running out to ensure they have enough funds to help those in need.
“As of yesterday’s count we’re at about 80% of our goal. Still a little ways to go but it’s definitely doable,” says Holland. “We’ve got lots of kettle shifts open, this money is very important to us to support and help our community through the year.”
Holland says they still have a number of spaces for volunteers to staff the Red Kettles in both Chatham and Wallaceburg.
If you’d like to help, contact the Sally Ann’s offices in Chatham at 519-354-8353, or
Wallaceburg at 519-627-8257
