
The steady showers we have been having lately is not doing much for the local AG industry. President Louis Roessh says it’s not too late but.
“It breaks right now, we’re still okay, but there are a number of guys out working ground, they got to start planting tomatoes immediately that you can’t do just a single farm,planting tomatoes,” says Roesch. “You have to have a number to plant, so once the plant opens there is a steady supply of tomatoes.”
He says with local farms providing product to so many facilities it almost has to be a team effort.
