A suspected drunk driver has been arrested in Raleigh Township.
Chatham-Kent Police received a tip about a vehicle travelling without lights and weaving in and out of its lane on Wter Street around 10:30 Thursday night.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and say the driver, a 57-year-old man, was arrested for impaired driving.
The accused was taken to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters for further testing, where he provided two samples above the legal limit.
The accused is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
He was released from custody with conditions and will have to answer the charges in court in October.
