A recent donation from local real estate agents is helping to ensure low-income families can achieve the dream of homeownership.
The Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors held its third annual Realtors Rock event on May 6 at The Fortress Tavern, opening the festivities to the public for the first time.
Through a silent auction and a 50/50 draw, the event raised more than $1,600 in support of Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent.
The evening event featured live musical performances from The Courtney Wells Band, Karaoke Bob, and a group of special guest realtors who took to the stage to showcase their musical talents.
