Saturday’s the day for the Ontario Health Coalition referendum.
The referendum is provincial wide but carries more importance in Wallaceburg as the local coalition collects data to try and stop cuts to health care.
Wallaceburg’s hospital is looking down the barrel of the gun when it comes to cuts.
Shirley Roebuck sits on both coalitions and says hospitals need to be funded and staffed properly and the cuts have to stop.
Once the referendum is completed all the data will be taken to Queen’s Park and presented to the Minister of Health.
There are voting stations throughout Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton, with extra venues in Wallaceburg.
