Several services will be closed or limited on Friday as Chatham-Kent observes a day of remembrance for veterans across the country.

All municipal offices will be closed for the Remembrance Day holiday, along with libraries, Chatham-Kent Public Health, and the Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission.

While the Chatham-Kent Museum will remain open on Remembrance Day, the Chatham Capitol Theatre, Kiwanis Theatre, Box Office, Chatham Cultural Centre, Thames Art Gallery, ARTspace, Milner Heritage House, and Ridge House Museum will all be closed.

Anyone planning on doing yard work on Friday should be aware that all leaf and yard depots will also be closed.

As well, Ride CK services will not be running.

Some healthcare services at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will also be altered for Remembrance Day, including Ambulatory Care, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Pre-Surgical Screening, the Diabetes Education Centre, the TIA and CAD Clinics, Pulmonary Function Lab, Outpatient Lab Services, Health Records, and Patient Appointment Offices, which will all be closed.

The Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department and Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic will also be closed.

All outpatient diagnostic tests will not be available, however, the COVID-19 Assessment Centre at 10 Grand Avenue in Chatham will remain open.

The Emergency Departments at CKHA’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will remain open 24 hours daily.
