The Ridgetown branch of the public library is going to be getting a facelift in the new year.
Extensive renovations include a new accessible washroom, expanded space for community programs, new floors, ceiling tiles, and lighting.
The branch will be closed from the beginning of January through the end of February, but to accommodate patrons from Ridgetown, the Highgate library will be offering extended hours.
Highgate Branch hours will be extended during the renovations:
Monday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Wednesday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Friday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Items borrowed at other branches can continue to be returned in the Ridgetown Branch drop box. Temporary Home Service will be available for patrons who aren’t able to travel out of town.
