Along with businesses and services opening up again around Chatham-Kent, municipal services are also starting to get back to normal…or close to it.

With the red zone designation for Chatham-Kent’s reopening efforts municipal offices and services will get rolling again. In fact the Chatham-Kent Civic Centre opened the doors yesterday for tax and utility payments and dog license renewal.

All other municipal service centers reopen Monday with regular business hours.

Service Ontario offices in Dresden and Chatham will continue to operate by appointment only but starting Monday will no longer be just for essential services.

All municipal arenas will be opening Saturday for existing contracts only. No new ice bookings will be taken at this time.

If you want to take a dip, the Wallaceburg Sydenham District Pool and Gable Rees Rotary Pool in Blenheim will reopen Monday with modified hours.

The 11 branches of the Chatham-Kent Public Library will continue curbside pickup.
