Municipal officials are hoping to get some provincial funding to help with more road work in Wallaceburg.
The Lord Selkirk Bridge on McNaughton Avenue is in need of repairs, and has been under load restrictions for almost a year.
The Civic Centre is hoping to get funding through the Ministry of Transportation’s Connecting Links Program.
If approved, provincial funding would cover up to $3-million dollars – any additional money needed would come through the municipality’s bridge lifecycle budget.
The municipality has until November 3rd to submit an application.
