Retrofest is in full swing in downtown Chatham today.
Classic cars started showing up around 5:30am and with the good weather, organizers are hoping for the biggest collection of automobiles yet.
Parade organizer Len Langlois says that was the case for the Friday night parade.
“We figure about 650 vehicles at least. The pubic supported us very well,” notes Langlois. “Last year we had about 500 and we know we exceeded that by at least 150 cars.”
The classic car event has been running for 15 years.
