Classic car enthusiasts will flock to downtown Chatham this weekend for an annual high-octane celebration that will be firing on all cylinders.
Thousands of visitors from across southwestern Ontario are expected to turn up for Retrofest, featuring hundreds of classic cars, live music, and a vibrant, throwback street party.
The event kicks off on Friday with live entertainment, vendors, food trucks, buskers and a kid zone in Tecumseh Park starting at 3 p.m.
Hot rods and custom classics will line up along King Street on Saturday for the Car Show, while the entertainment continues in Tecumseh Park. The vendors and food will be returning to the park, along with the Ms. RetroFest Pageant, Soap Box Derby, and Car Show awards.
Chatham’s Retrofest, which is in its 26th year, has regularly ranked among Ontario’s top 100 festivals.
