The municipality may be kicking in almost $85,000 for the upcoming Retrofest/RM Anniversary celebrations. 
In a report to council tonight, the money is being recommended to come from a reserve fund and will be used to offset municipal costs to host the event like additional off duty officers, park staff to maintain washrooms, and traffic control.
The police contingent alone is expected cost about $11,000, with additional security fencing for the Sam Roberts concert estimated to cost $7,000.
The Big Sugar concert at the Capitol is expected to cost $17,000.
