A melee in Tecumseh Park has landed several people with charges.
Chatham-Kent Police received a report shortly after 8 o’clock Saturday night that a group of close to 50 people were involved in a physical altercation in the park, potentially involving prohibited weapons.
Officers arrived and multiple young people were arrested and taken to police headquarters, where police say they were charged according.
Authorities say an aerosol weapon was recovered at the scene.
All of the accused will released with conditions and future court dates.
