The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent is getting a helping hand as it works to build a new facility.
The Rexall Foundation is donating $5000 the Butterfly Building campaign.
Recreation Therapist Alison Munro says the funds will be going towards the Adapted Recreation Program.
“Here at the Centre, we offer a variety of programs through our Adapted Rec program. They are all kind of seasonally based, so no two seasons ever look the same. They’re basically programs that are designed for children with special needs who often have barriers to accessing community-based programs,” says Munro.
Officials say this is the second significant donation the organization has made to the cause.
