Betting on sports through OLG has paid off big for a Ridgetown man.
Darcy Marianchuk took home $56,942.50 through POOLS, an easy way to bet on sports by buying a ticket.
With no odds or spreads, POOLS allows players to wager $5 to pick a sport and card number, along with who they think will win each matchup. Those with the most correct picks win or share the prize pool.
The winning ticket was purchased at Ridgetown Gas & Car Wash Inc. on Main Street West.
