Chatham-Kent continues to be a sellers’ market when it comes to home sales.
The Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors is out with its monthly figures, and says the number of properties sold in January rose over 55% from the same time a year ago, with 73 homes changing hands.
President Steve Carroll says it was the second-best January sales figure on record, behind figures tallied in 2007.
The average price of a home sold last month was $216,704, up 23% from January, 2018.
