A second suspect has now been arrested in connection to a pair of armed robberies over the last week.

The investigation began last week after convenience stores in both Petrolia and Sarnia were held up.

One suspect was taken into custody over the weekend, and a second, a 40-year-old Sarnia man, was arrested yesterday.

A 46-year-old man is accused of two counts each of robbery with a weapon, using a disguise with intent, and possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose.

The second suspect is also facing two counts of robbery with a weapon.
