What started as an argument in Ridgetown has a woman recovering from injuries and a man facing charges.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the two got into a fight yesterday morning – police say the man started to leave the apartment when the woman followed him outside to return some property.
While they were in the parking lot and the woman walked away, the man hit her with his car. He then fled the scene.
The woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say last night, officers found the man and arrested him. The 41-year-old from Rodney has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and assault with a weapon.
