Organizers are thrilled with the turnout to the first 3 Rivers Roll in Wallaceburg.
Community Living Wallaceburg President Kevin Cavanaugh says close to 200 people were part of last night’s bike ride around the Glasstown.
“They really got into it, a lot of them brought their own music, they were dancing on their bikes,” Cavanaugh explains. “They learned as they went, they kept the line together, they stayed to the right, they obeyed the police, and everybody just had fun!”
Cavanaugh says a big thank you needs to go out to all of the staff and volunteers who helped coordinate the event, along with Chatham-Kent Police who helped guide cyclists and motorists along the route.
While there was no fee to attend, donations were being accepted to help purchase a wheelchair bicycle for the organization.
