Councillor Rhonda Jubenville is bringing forward a motion at tonight’s Chatham-Kent council meeting that will allow for council input into any further vaccination employment policies.
The motion calls for the policies to be decided upon collaboratively between Chatham-Kent council and the municipality’s executive management team.
Previously, the executive management team created and implemented employee and volunteer vaccination policies.
Juvenville’s motion suggests that policies should be made through consultation and majority agreement through dialogue and council votes.
