World War I history will be in the spotlight later this month.
The Rotary Club of Chatham is hosting its 81s annual Rotary Banquet, the first since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The club welcomes guest speaker Dr. Graham Broad, an award winning historian who will be discussing his publication “Part of Life Itself: The War Diary of Leslie H Miller, CEF.”
Miller’s diary covers all of the First World War and the first few months of peace following the conflict, and offers insight into a soldier’s day to day life on the Western Front.
The Rotary Banquet will be held Friday, November 8th at the Everest Convention Centre in Chatham. Proceeds from the event support Rotary’s charitable work locally and around the world.
