Hundreds of Chatham-Kent residents will be hitting the street this weekend to help fight cancer.
The annual Run for the Cure includes both a 1k and 5k run or walk, all in the name of breast cancer research.
Since 1992, the run has raised almost $445-million across Canada. This is just the second year the event has been held in Chatham-Kent.
Everything gets underway at 9 o’clock Sunday morning at the Enbridge Gas offices on Bloomfield Road in Chatham.
