The Salvation Army is kicking off a month of celebrations today. 
A flag raising ceremony is being held at the Civic Centre later this morning to mark the organization’s 135th anniversary in Chatham-Kent.
A little later this month – on the 18th – an open house will be held at the Salvation Army church on Orangewood Boulevard in Chatham, followed by dinner and an evening of entertainment.
