Santa Claus is Coming to Chatham, but Not For A Parade

No Santa Claus Parade through downtown Chatham this year, but the old man in red won’t be leaving kids in the lurch.

Officials with the Historic Downtown Chatham BIA say even though the province has lifted capacity limits on outdoor events, there will be no parades in Chatham-Kent due to a lack of municipal resources.

Santa Claus will, however, be making the trip from the North Pole to visit with kids and have pictures taken at the Kings Common in front of the Downtown Chatham Centre on Saturday, November 20^th from 1-5pm.

Donations will be collected for the Chatham Goodfellows.
