Children and their families will have multiple chances to see Santa Claus in Chatham-Kent ahead of Christmas Day.

Everyone will be encouraged to watch curbside during the annual Santa Claus parades that are scheduled to take place in CK’s local communities.

The first parade will be held in Chatham on Friday starting at 7 p.m. on Lacroix Street, before moving downtown to King Street.

The Knights of Pythias Santa Claus Parade will mark its 52nd year in Wallaceburg on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. on Arnold Street.

Tilbury will host its Santa Claus Parade next week on November 25. The parade will start at the Fire Hall at 7 p.m. and head south on Queen Street to Memorial Park. The Tilbury Lions Christmas Light Festival will also celebrate its opening night in the park following the parade.

The Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade in Blenheim is scheduled for December 2, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Wheatley’s annual Santa Claus Parade will be held on December 3 at 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and head north onto Erie Street South, turning right onto Talbot Road East, right down Little Street, and then right onto Middleton Line to finish back at the church.

The Dresden Santa Claus Parade will then take place on December 10 at 5 p.m., followed by the Thamesville Santa Claus Parade on December 13 at 7 p.m.

Food donations will be accepted at several of the parades to help those in need this holiday season.
