He’s making his list and checking it twice! Ready or not, this Saturday (Nov. 12), the big, jolly guy in the red suit will be making his way to Wallaceburg!

The Knights of Pythtas 42nd annual Christmas Parade kicks off at 2pm with a “Toys In Toyland” theme this year.

The parade route will begin on Arnold Street, continue up Dufferin Avenue through the ‘Burg’s downtown core on James Street and continue up Nelson to Elgin Street, finishing up at the Catholic School Board parking lot on the corner of Elgin and Duncan.

Staging for those in the parade will be on Arnold Street from Dufferin to Garnet Street.

Kids are reminded to bring their letters to Santa. Our local postal carriers will be in the parade to collect this year’s wishlist. Canned goods and non-perishable items will be collected for the local food bank. Look for our St. Bernards and the Fire Department who will be kicking off the parade while collecting during the route.

Registration forms are still available at 99.1 CKXS studios, all local food banks and credit unions as well as Big Paws Ceramics on James Street in Wallaceburg.
