He’s making his list, checking it twice, and this weekend, Santa Claus is coming to town.
The holiday season kicks off tonight with the Downtown Chatham BIA parade in downtown Chatham. The route will be somewhat different, due to construction on King Street West near Lacroix. The procession will begin at 6:30pm, making its way down Lacroix to Wellington Street, then over to King Street West.
Volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food and toys along the parade route, in support of the Chatham Goodfellows’ No Child Without a Christmas campaign.
The parade will end at the Wish Centre where you can grab pictures with Santa, hot chocolate, and pizza, while supplies last.
The man in red will be making a stop in Wallaceburg this weekend as well. The 56th annual Knights of Pythias Christmas Parade begins at 6pm on Saturday with a theme of “Christmas Around the World.”
