Sarnia Police say it’s a miracle a woman found in the back of a garbage truck wasn’t hurt.
The truck’s driver was picking up a load from a bin yesterday morning, dumped it into the truck and then crushed the load before heading to the next stop. That’s when the driver heard someone yelling from the back of the truck.
EMS and fire crews were called to the scene and the woman was pulled from the vehicle.
Authorities say the 48-year-old must have tried to find shelter in a bin by covering herself with cardboard and was hidden from the truck’s cameras.
