The province has released the EQAO scores for all the publicly funded school across the province.
Locally The St. Clair Catholic District School Board numbers break down like this:
Grade 3 students are ahead of the provincial averages in reading, writing and math.
Grade 6 students are the opposite, with fewer students than average meeting the provincial standards. That’s particularly the case in math, where just 39% meet the standard, compared to 50 % province wide.
In Grade 9 math, students are ahead in Applied, but behind in Academic.
