If you are heading off to University to study a subject in the environmental field, the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority may be able to help you out financially.

The authority is currently accepting applications for 2019 scholarships.

Up to 2 $1000 and 2 $500 dollar scholarships will be awarded to high school students going into the field.

That includes biology, ecology, geography, forestry, agriculture, etc.

Students must live within the boundaries of the SCRCA and that includes Wallaceburg, Dresden and Sarnia.

Scholarships are available at the high schools, or by logging on to www.scrca.on.ca.

The deadline to apply is May 31st.
