A Blenheim resident has been charged following a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus.

The Ontario Provincial Police said two passenger vehicles and a school bus collided on Communication Road in Chatham-Kent, on November 29 shortly before 7:30 a.m.

There were 27 students on board the bus at the time of the collision, however, no injuries were reported.

The road was briefly closed to allow officers to conduct an investigation and another bus attended the scene to transport the students to their destination.

A 31-year-old from Blenheim, who was the driver of one of the passenger vehicles, is now charged with careless driving.
