School Custodian Cleans Up With Lotto Win

Another Chatham-Kent resident has hit the jackpot.
Robert Bechard, who works as a school custodian, recently won $100,000 on a Lotto Max ticket by matching the last six of seven Encore numbers.
“I looked at the screen and I was like ‘What the…?’ I was so excited and thrilled, I was shaking,” Bechard says. “I am so happy about this win, my whole town knows I’ve won.”
The 63-year-old married father of two plans to use his winnings to pay off some bills and invest in his retirement.
The winning ticket for the March 13th draw was purchased at the Pain Court Market on Winterline Road.
