SCRCA Updates The Flood Watch

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has updated their flood watch for Chatham-kent.

15 mm of rain is expected to fall throughout Sunday with another 5-10 mm expected on Monday.

The strong winds arrive Monday with sustained winds at 50 km/h with gusts up to 80 km/h.

Winds from the south or the West could cause a surge in waters near Wallaceburg and Mitchell’s Bay.

The water will not recede until the winds subside.

The following roads may experience flooding. Otter Creek Line, Nelson Street North of McKee, and Emily Street at Elizabeth.

This message will remain in effect until Tuesday April 14th.
