A 56-year-old Chatham Township man is facing charges after a dust up with a police officer near Wallaceburg on Tuesday night.
According to law enforcement officials, the man was riding his bike on St. Clair Road around midnight when police stopped him to talk about road safety.
Police say the man started to ride away, but then steered his bike into the cruiser. At that point the man got off his bike and attempted to grab at the officer through the vehicle window.
He was arrested after a brief scuffle.
The accused is now facing charges of failing to identify, mischief, assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, and uttering threats.
