The search continues for a man who allegedly jumped into the Sydenham River in downtown Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to a call of two suspicious people on Wallace Street just after 6 last night.
When officers arrived, authorities say a man and woman fled and jumped into the river. The woman was able to swim to shore safely, but police say the man didn’t resurface.
A police drone and fire and emergency service personnel have been helping with the search.
