A Chatham woman is preparing for a second stem cell transplant as her battle with leukemia continues.
Jocelyn McGlynn underwent her first transplant last February, but suffered a relapse at the end of September.
On her Facebook page this morning, McGlynn announced she is heading to Toronto today to begin preparations for the next procedure on December 20th.
“On December 20th, I’ll be receiving my new cells and marking another “birthday”! Last night we celebrated not only this special date marked in our calendars, but also great preliminary results from the biopsy I had yesterday,” McGlynn says. “As you can see, I couldn’t conceal my joy! I am incredibly blessed to have my team beside me.”
