Chatham-Kent Police want to work with businesses and homeowners to make the community safer.
Chatham-Kent Police are working on creating a security camera registry, so that the public can help prevent crime.
The registry will show a map of all registered security cameras in Chatham-Kent, allowing officers to solve crimes quickly and efficiently.
Registration is voluntary, and can be done by visiting ckpolice.com.
Authorities say all information will be kept confidential and only the police will have access to it.
