The finalists have been announced for this year’s Chatham-Kent Senior Achievement Awards.
The Awards recognize and honour older adults over the age of 60 who have achieved significant goals and have been outstanding volunteers within the municipality.
“The list of nominees for CK Senior of the Year are always inspiring, and this year is no different,” said Alysson Storey, Chair of the Celebration of Older Adults Committee, in a news release. “Across Chatham-Kent seniors are making our community better every single day with their dedication and generosity.”
In all, 14 individuals have been selected as finalists.
The nominees will be honoured and the 2026 Senior of the Year award presented during the Aging Well Conference, taking place Wednesday, September 16 at Hidden Hills Golf and Country Club.
