The judge in the case of a Brampton truck driver who pleaded guilty to five charges in connection with a fatal crash on the 401 last July will take some time before announcing his sentencing decision.
52 year old Marjit Parmar pleaded guilty to five charges in the July 2017 crash on the 401 near Dillon Road that caused a 6 car pileup and killed 42 year old Lacie Brundritt and her 14 year old son Kyle of Amherstburg.
In a Chatham court room Tuesday the judge heard victim impact statements, and a joint submission from the defence and the crown for an 18 month jail sentence followed by a year on probation.
The judge will render a sentencing decision October 10th.
