As residents celebrate with loved ones on Family Day, there will be a number of service closures across Chatham-Kent.
All municipal offices will be closed on Monday, including Service Ontario offices in Chatham and Dresden. There will be no garbage or recycling collections on the holiday, and pick-ups for the rest of the week will be delayed by a day.
All branches of the public library will be open as usual on Monday, although the administration offices will be closed.
The Chatham-Kent Museum and the Thames Art Gallery are open on Family Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All other municipal arts and culture venues are closed on Monday, including the Chatham Capitol Theatre and Kiwanis Theatre.
All Ride CK transit services will also be parked on Monday, resuming Tuesday morning.
Ridgetown Arena will be closed on Family Day, however, all other arenas will be open. The February Free Skate schedule can be found by clicking here.
The Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool and the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool are open for free swims from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Entegrus and the Public Utilities Commission will be closed, however, anyone experiencing an emergency can call 519-352-6300.
Police, fire and emergency services will remain available 24 hours a day.
