ServiceOntario To Provide Health Card Services To Migrant Workers In CK

International agri-food workers will soon be able to renew and register for a health card in Chatham-Kent.

The ServiceOntario locations in Chatham and Dresden will be offering health card services for migrant workers beginning on Wednesday.

To be eligible, workers must be in the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program or employed in the farming industry in the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

The services will not be available to family members of work permit holders or holders of open work permits.

Walk-in customers are welcome at both the Chatham and Dresden locations, however, appointments can be made by calling 519-360-1998 or by emailing so-chatham@chatham-kent.ca.
