Several healthcare services offered at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will altered on Monday in recognition of Remembrance Day.

The Chatham-Kent hospital’s Ambulatory Care Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Pre-Surgical Screening Services, Diabetes Education Centre, the TIA and CAD Clinics, Pulmonary Function Lab, Outpatient Lab Services, Health Records and Patient Appointment Offices will all be closed on Monday.

The Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department, the Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic, and the Oncology/Chemotherapy Department will also be closed.

The hospital will also close the Elston Pharmacy at the Chatham Site, the Business Office and the Cashier’s Office.

Hemodialysis Care will remain open for patients on Monday, and patients with scheduled diagnostic tests can still attend their appointments

As well, the Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will remain open 24 hours daily.

Meantime, government offices will also be closed on Monday. Service Ontario offices in Chatham and Dresden will be shut down, reopening on Tuesday.

Public libraries across Chatham-Kent will be closed on Remembrance Day tomorrow, but branches that are normally open on Mondays will open as scheduled.

RIDE CK buses will be running as usual, and there will be no change to garbage or recycling pick-ups next week.
