Protesters opposed to the new sex-ed curriculum continue to put pressure on Queens Park.

Hundreds of people were recently in Toronto trying to tell the premier they do not want the new coursesĀ in the schools come this September. Chatham-Kent-Essex MPP Rick Nichols says yes there are somethings in the curriculum that are good and a lot of things that are not.

“There are aspects of that curriculum that I agree with, bullying, sexting, but it’s the other aspects of age appropriateness that I disagree with and I think a lot of these parents are very upset.”

The premier did speak with some of the protesters telling them point blank the curriculum goes ahead in September.
