A Chatham man is facing several charges in connection to a fight outside a St Clair Street business.
Shortly before 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, Chatham-Kent Police say a man was causing a disturbance outside the establishment. When an employee tried to intervene, authorities say the accused aggressively charged towards them and began making threats to cause harm.
The situation escalated further and the man allegedly began swinging his arms and grabbed the employee by the genitals.
The accused was found by officers a short distance away and taken into custody.
The 28-year-old is now charged with uttering threats, assault, and sexual assault. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
