SheLeads Returns for a Second Year

An event aimed at empowering women in Chatham-Kent is returning for another year.

SheLeads was launched in July 2023 with a day-long event featuring several break-out sessions and seminars to inspire, educate, and empower women-identifying folks with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to flourish.

Plans are now in the works for a mini session series to be held monthly, starting January 11th. The kick-off event his year will feature Chatham-Kent Councillor Alysson Storey, sharing her insights and experiences as a community leader.

“We are elated to be launching our 2024 SheLeads mini session series with our friend and role model, Councillor Storey,” said SheLeads co-founder Randi Bokor Caron. “Alysson is an advocate for all women in Chatham-Kent, and we know her session will be enlightening. We can’t wait to pick her brain about being a woman in municipal politics.”
