Theft charges have been laid after a Chatham man hid some Canadian Tire merchandise in his pants.
According to Chatham-Kent police, the man tried to leave the store yesterday morning with a charging cable in his trousers.
Police stopped the man, arrested him, and charged him with theft under $5000.
