Shoplifting charges have been laid against a Wallaceburg man.
Chatham-Kent Police say the 23-year-old was spotted hiding a number of items under his clothes and in a backpack at the Canadian Tire store in Chatham last night.
The accused was stopped and arrested.
The total value of the stolen merchandise was just over $300.
