A broken window has led to charges for a local man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a St. Clair Street address in Chatham at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday after damage was caused to a building.
After reviewing surveillance footage, officers learned that a man had rammed a window with a shopping cart, before punching and kicking it, causing it to break.
Police searched the area and located a suspect. The 29-year-old Chatham-Kent man is now charged with mischief and two counts of failing to comply with a release order. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
