A Chatham man will be hitting the road tomorrow morning in a one-day ultra-marathon, raising money for the Chatham-Kent Children’s Treatment Centre.

Kevin Owen, a board member at the Treatment Centre Foundation, will be running 100 kilometres in 15 hours with a goal of raising $100,000.

Owen will begin the day at 3am in Mitchell’s Bay, heading through Wallaceburg, Dresden, Kent Bridge, Chatham, and Blenheim, before wrapping up his run in Erieau.

All of the money raised through the Shore to Shore event will help support programs and services at the Treatment Centre that aren’t covered by provincial funding.
